Living Angels Christian Academy, active in the ministry of teaching since 1997, recognizes this birthright and seeks to nurture children in an environment that simulates heaven on earth as represented in its school seal. The Holy Spirit, symbolized by the simple lines of a dove in flight, dwells at the heart of this aspiration, giving young folks the strength and the wisdom to set out in the world as full-winged Angels, hands held together in Our Father’s Love and a unity of vision that sustains both dream and reality of Christian education.
Our History

Living Angels Christian Academy, active in the ministry of teaching since 1997, recognizes this birthright and seeks to nurture children in an environment that simulates heaven on earth as represented in its school seal. A co-brethren in Christ, Mr. Wyden King, owner & Chairman of the Board of Armadillo Holdings, Inc. (now Abraham Holdings, Inc.) saw the birth of VBS, and what it was accomplishing. And as God’s designs can be astonishing, he decided to take part in this mission. Thus, construction broke ground on November 17, 1996, and A SCHOOL LIKE NO OTHER was born. Little Angels Educare Center (its original name) initially offered Preschool Education with 21 enrollees, 4 teachers, and 7 newly built classrooms. The following school year saw the birth of the Special Education Department, with two students transferred from preschool, classified with cerebral palsy and down syndrome. In 1998, the school was renamed Little Angels Christian Academy. In March 2001, the first Elementary Commencement Exercises were successfully held. It was in this year that the school was renamed “Living Angels Christian Academy”.
The year 2005 was a momentous one: 1st High School Commencement Exercises were held in March; SPED and High School DepEd Recognition were attained. LACA’s history will not be complete without the persona of Mr. Angelo King, one of our famous national philanthropists and our very own benefactor, whose unwavering support enabled the school to open its doors to more and more students coming from marginalized families in Baliwag and other nearby towns. The rise of the 5-storey Belen R. King High School Building (named after his wife) in 2011, followed by the completion of the 2-storey Angelo King SPED Building in 2012, attested to his generosity and staunch belief in the school’s aspiration to be God’s educational pillar in this part of the world. The school's 30x15m basketball court was finally covered in December 2013. The ground and 2nd floors of the 4-storey 'Angelo King' Senior High School building are fully operational to accommodate more students, particularly Grades 11 and 12, starting SY 2016- 2017. Afterwards, the two 2-storey canteen buildings and another covered court were built. And in June 2020, the 3rd and 4th Floors of the SHS Building were completed and dedicated by January 23, 2021.
2019 comes with the precious gift from GOD. LACA received the revelation during the Refocusing with the Vision Keeper, Bro. Wyden King, that we are called to be EDUCATORS of the HEART to equip the teachers and parents to nurture and raise up the next generation of leaders that will serve as GOD’s vessels of His Love, Life, and Light in the community as well as for the country. Hence, LACA’s Vision and Mission Statements were levelled up in obedience to GOD, zooming in to the very same spirit of Nanay Cora’s Education of the Heart in bringing children into the Kingdom of Our Father. It was realized later that LACA is being prepared for something bigger and 7 bolder, the coming of the new trend in education. And so, to brave the challenges of this New Normal since March 2020 in the advent of the Covid19 Pandemic, LACA offers Education of the Heart begins at H.O.M.E, where H.O.M.E. stands for Hybrid, Online and Modular Education, with an upgraded IT system.
Now in its 28 th year, LACA’s educational offerings include Preschool, Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School, and Special Education (SPED). From 21 pupils in 1997, to more than 2,000 student population, indeed, the school has gone quite a long way, but still continues its journey, traversing a path which can be arduous at times. But as long as it believes in and lives out God’s principles in the way it educates the heart and mind, and nurtures relationships, it will remain as ‘A School Like No Other’, producing individuals who are “Matalino Na, Mabait Pa,” possessing Goodness and Wisdom (Bonum et Sapientum). Since then, by the enabling grace of Our God Almighty, the school has remained faithful to the tenets of transformative Christian Kingdom Education. LACA, as it receives and flows with the Love of Our Father, continues its commitment to introduce how God’s love, mercy and faithfulness produce a life-changing learning process where LACA becomes God’s vessel of His Love, Light and Life that would indeed make a difference to the community, to the nation and to the world.
The fullness of God’s promises for LACA is yet to come, as we claim Habakkuk 2:3 which states,
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” [KJV]
